Briefly, we will describe some of the work that we do here at Got Rods small engine repair, we will try to help our customers in every way we can...we will even tell you how to DIY if that's what you wish....becuase is not always about making money ..sometimes, is about making friends.

MECHANICAL PROBLEMS
Do you have the feeling that the horses under your throttle have turned into ponies? If so, you might have a power problem,either carburetor problem, ignition system problem or something else. If only nailing down the causes of power loss were as simple as a tuber in the tailpipe, we wouldn't make such a hash out of diagnosing them. But identifying a power problem can try the patience of a saint. That’s why we invite you to bring the machine to our shop so we can get the worries out of your hands.

ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS
Many malfunction that occur in small engines can be diagnosed as electrical problems. Sometimes the source of an electrical problem can be an electrical wire or blown fuse.
Some of the most important electrical components are the spark plugs and spark plug wires. When these go bad ,the engine will no longer properly work.
Performing routine maintenance on an engine will keep it running at optimum performance, and help to extend the life of the equipment that it is providing power to.

ENGINE REPAIRS
So we get a lot of questions on this and the answer is Yes, we can rebuild your same engine, either a lawnmower, a motorcycle, ATV or personal water craft or any other small engine you might have. Of course rebuilding an engine is not always cheap, we guarantee our work and stay behind it providing limited time warranty on every engine rebuild.

CLUTCH REPAIRS
A major system of your engine specially on motorcycles and AtVs: the clutch
A clutch is a mechanical device that provides for the transmission of power from one component to another when engaged, but can be disengaged.
In these devices, one shaft is typically attached to a motor or other power unit while the other shaft provides output power for work.
It is very important to have the clutch working a 100 percent so you don't get stuck on the road

Some of our other services include: blade sharpening, tires and tubes replacement, oil change, metal welding, sprocket & chain replacement, carb. tuning, valves adjustment, piston rings replacement and more. Don't be afraid to ask, if we can't do it....very few can.
